OUR SERVICES
Our office provides many services in addition to hard to fit contact lenses. Click the links to find out more about:
Fitting and followup of many types of contact lenses, including soft, disposable, toric (for astigmatism), bifocals, tinted, hard/gas permeable
I have an extensive background in “difficult to fit” contact lenses.
If you are nearsighted (unable to see far away), farsighted (hard to see up close), or have astigmatism (your eye is shaped like a football), I can help
you get into the most appropriate contact lens. No lens is the same. It’s not
a “one lens fits everybody” situation.
If you need a reading correction, a bifocal contact lens may be the best way to go. Perhaps you just want to change the color of your eyes.
In many cases, a hard gas permeable lens is the most appropriate choice. For example, people who have had less than successful refractive surgery outcomes or conditions of the cornea that causes distortion. I have many years of training and experience in the fitting of all types of gas permeable contact lenses.

Comprehensive examination of the eyes and vision
I take the time to evaluate each and every patient. Everyone has different needs and goals. Only by listening carefully, collecting the appropriate data, and analyzing it correctly, can the ideal treatment plan be implemented. I do not rush you through like a piece of cattle, hurrying to get to the next patient.
If you are having problems seeing across the room or your “arms aren’t long
enough”, I will be able to determine exactly what you need to help you see better.
Diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, including conjunctivitis(pinkeye), glaucoma, cataracts, foreign bodies (e.g. metal in the eye)
There are many causes of what is commonly known as “pink eye”. Whether it is
the result of an actual virus or bacteria or an allergic reaction, I will
determine the cause and appropriate treatment plan.
Glaucoma is a condition of the eye most characterized by elevated pressure. It cancause a significant loss of vision if not detected and treated early.
Cataracts occur when the lens of the eye becomes cloudy. This causes the vision to appear as though you are looking through a smudged window. These are simple to detect and treatment is relatively straightforward.
Pieces of foreign objects within the eye are called foreign bodies. These wayward materials include metal, wood, plastic and anything else that does not belong. I can evaluate the extent of the injury and safely remove the offending object.
